About Westmoore Farm Cider Press:
Westmoore Farm Cottages are an exclusive set of beautifully restored and converted farm buildings, an integral part of Westmoore Farm, a working livestock farm (farm tours welcomed by arrangement), and set in 30 acres of lovely rolling Devon countryside. Set deep in the heart of the South Hams, the 16th Century, Grade II listed site is just 2 miles from the charming villages of Diptford and Avonwick, both on the banks of the glorious River Avon, and only 2.5 miles from the A38 giving very easy access to the whole of the West Country. With Dartmoor to the north and the coast to the south, all within a ten mile radius, Westmoore is very centrally located, so with the facilities on site, good walking from the doorstep, the choices are unlimited.
The farm is run by a family who have personally supervised the recent restoration of these fine buildings, resulting in delightful spacious dwellings set around a paved, terraced and part lawn courtyard.
Hallway with cloaks cupboard and stairs up to a very spacious open plan living room with the superb fitted kitchen at one end, exposed scissor beams, sofa and two chairs, dining table to seat 4, wood burning stove, courtyard and country views. There are two ground floor double bedrooms, both with double beds, wardrobes and en-suite shower rooms with shower cubicle, basin and wc.
A few steps from the properties is a superb walled garden, a real suntrap, laid out on three terraces, with lawn areas, a pond and a delightful water feature that cascades down the steps. The top terrace is paved and there is a barbecue, picnic tables and garden furniture. A gate from this attractive area opens into a large fenced paddock, surrounded by fields and woods - great for ball games!
A short walk from the cottages is a lovely lake, which attracts plenty of wildlife. Picnic tables here provide an idyllic spot for summer barbecues. The lake is surrounded by a path and the area is totally enclosed.
The cottages share a large car park where there is ample space for boats and trailers.
Laundry room equipped with two washing machines and two tumble dryers.
