About Daisy Cow Barn:
Exceptional detached dwelling converted into a very pleasing, spacious home, outstandingly finished with fine oak floors and doors, high quality fittings and comfortable furniture. Set in a small exclusive group of recently developed farm buildings, the property is tucked on the side of a gently sloping valley above the village of Frogmore that clusters around a picturesque creek and meanders out into the wide stretches of the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary. Plenty of opportunity here for fabulous waterside walks, bird watching, boating, fishing and within a short distance of some of the best beaches on the South coast.
Front door to hallway. Cloakroom with basin and WC. Door into a most attractive, spacious, open plan living room that features a magnificent stone pillar. A corner natural stone fireplace houses a wood burner effect stove and the room is comfortably furnished with two generous sofas (one a 4ft 6in sofa bed), TV with DVD and glazed door to the garden. A handsome farmhouse table seats 6 in the dining area. The very smart kitchen area has a slate floor, fitted oak units, a Rangemaster cooker with electric 4 ring hob and griddle, double oven and grill, a large integral fridge/freezer, small dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Spiral stairs to the landing (some of Daisy's friends are featured here!). Lovely double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed, pine furniture and French windows with safety rails. Small twin bedroom with 3ft beds. Smart tiled bathroom with bath, basin, WC and separate large shower enclosure with a large rose head shower.
The property is approached up a long shared private drive through landscaped gardens that include a large deep unfenced pond, home to plenty of wildlife. The garden (not enclosed) extends around two sides of the cottage with a very private area off the living room with paved patio area, table and chairs. Landscaped banks have steps up to level lawn terraces, a delightful suntrap.
