About Rose Cottage:

A completely private, a delightful hideaway on this working farm, a tour of which can be arranged. The cottage, with panoramic views from the garden across beautiful fields and wooded countryside, has a modern, newly refurbished interior, is tastefully decorated with neutral decor and charming furnishings and is centrally placed for easy access to Dartmoor, Exmoor and the whole of Devon. There is plenty of opportunity for walking, with public footpaths, the Tarka trail and Tarka scenic railway nearby. A local hotel will arrange salmon, sea and brown trout fishing in the nearby River Taw and game shooting is also available. Tennis players have use of a marvellous unfenced grass court in the owner's garden. Welcome tea tray on arrival.

Kitchen door into a large open kitchen and dining area with table and seating for 6. The kitchen has fitted units with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. Most attractive living room with two very comfortable sofas, easy chair, colour TV/DVD, radio/tape/CD player, woodburner and glazed door to the outside. Double aspect windows look onto the beautiful countryside surrounding the cottage. Upstairs: Double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed and a twin bedded room with two 3ft beds and an extra 'Z' bed provided. Bathroom with white bathroom suite and over bath shower.

In front of the cottage there is a sitting out area with garden table, chairs and a garden with picnic bench and barbecue. Tennis players - trainers or tennis shoes should be worn please. Tennis raquets provided (not balls).
