This two-storey cottage, which is attached to Dovecote, offers views up the valley into the orchard. The open plan sitting room is furnished with a woodburner with glass doors, and colour TV, DVD, sofas, easy chair and coffee tables. There is an open plan dining and fully-equipped kitchen area with slate flooring, and a downstairs bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet, vanity unit and heater. There is night storage heating throughout, and supplementary heating.

Upstairs the main bedroom has a double bed, and armchair and coffee table. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a private garden immediately outside the stable-style front door.

Winter and Spring short break bookings available in all cottages until 14th March 2008. Price £190 per cottage for 2 or 4 people for up to a 3 night stay fully inclusive, plus £30 per extra night.

Dogs charged £8 for a short break and £16 for a full week.

About Dittiscombe Holiday Cottages:

Our 4-star self-catering cottages are comfortably furnished with full heating, some have woodburners and spa baths, and each has its own private garden and views of rolling Devon countryside.

The cottages nestle in our private valley at the end of our lane. They have been sympathetically renovated from farm buildings and are individually decorated and furnished. There are thick stone walls, exposed beams and recessed windows, feature fireplaces, slate, wood or ceramic flooring, providing a homely setting all year round.

Outside, the cottages have individual private gardens with lawns, hedges and stone walls, flower and shrub borders, hanging baskets and herb pots, gravel paths and patios, garden furniture, and lovely views of the surrounding valley.

Guests can enjoy our nature trail in over twenty acres of private open space with ponds, woodland and meadows, or a little bird and wildlife-watching from their cottage gardens.
