Approximately one mile from the village of East Portlemouth, with ferry to Salcombe, in an idyllic location within two acres of unspoilt, partly wooded grounds. The garden borders the stream that runs into the creek and has areas of lawn with shrubs and an attractive pond. The cottage is as pretty inside as out, the owner having gone to great lengths to make this an extremely comfortable home, with good quality carpets and furnishings, yet retaining all the olde worlde charm, with exposed beams, old fireplaces and stripped pine doors.

Entrance hall with flagstone floor and rugs. Sitting/dining room with comfortable three piece suite, dining table and chairs, French doors to garden and patio/terrace. Second sitting room with open fire, TV with Freeserve, video/DVD, pretty window seat, door to drive. Kitchen with limed oak units, ceramic tiled worktops, oil fired Rayburn cooker, electric hob, built-in oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and walk-in larder cupboard. Washing machine/ tumble dryer. Cloakroom with wc and basin. Upstairs: Dual aspect master double bedroom (4ft 6in). Further double bedroom (4ft 6in). Two single bedrooms (3ft beds). Bathroom with bath, shower attachment, basin and wc.

Garden furniture. The owner's rowing boat is available for use on the creek at your own risk.
