About The Studio, Watersmeet:

The Studio is a detached building immediately next to Watersmeet Cottage consisting of a studio room 5.35 x 3.45M and separate bathroom with shower and bath and a well equipped kitchen (water is from our own spring). There is a satellite and DVD TV. Parking is immediately next to it.

Watersmeet is set in total seclusion in the Walkham Valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park overlooking its own river, the moors and woods. It lies at the end of its own track some 1/2 mile from the nearest road yet only three miles from the historic market town of Tavistock. (Voted the best market town in England in and the best Farmers Market in the SouthWest)

Wild horses, sheep, deer, otters, badgers, buzzards, herons and kingfishers can all be seen from the property and sea trout, salmon and brown trout can be found in the river. The property is completely surrounded by the river and moors and visitors can walk for hours without meeting any road.

There are excellent local pubs within a 10 minute drive of the property as well as the amenities of Tavistock itself. Cornwall can be reached in less than 20 mins.

Horseriding, mountain biking, canoeing and climbing are all available locally and salmon, sea trout and wild brown trout licences can be purchased in Tavistock for local rivers.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable within 7 days of booking. The balance in not less than 28 days of the holiday.
